Get a glimpse of the unique beauty at Kasargod Backwaters

Kasargod, situated in the northern most part of Kerala, is a popular destination for its backwaters. With the Arabian Sea to the West and Western Ghats to the North and East, Kasargod has a unique natural beauty. Chandragiri and Valiyaparamba are the two backwater stretches in Kasargod.

Situated a few kilometers from Kasargod town is Chandragiri. The backwater cruise in and around Chandragiri is really a pleasing experience. Moreover, you cannot miss the historic Chandragiri Fort, built in the 17th century. From the fort, yu can have a glimpse of the spectacular sunsets over the sea.

Valiyaparamba, which is also near to Kasargod town, is rich with dense vegetation. It is the greenery in and around Valiyaparamba that makes the backwater cruise a splendid experience.
