Thiruvananthapuram backwaters

Thiruvananthapuram is the capital of Kerala, a state in India. Located near serene backwaters and beautiful beaches, the city gives a mesmerizing holiday.

Though the Thiruvananthapuram backwaters are not that popular as that of other Kerala backwaters, it still has a place in the backwater Map of Kerala. The extensive backwaters give a picturesque view of a paradise. Get a glimpse of the unique beauty at Kasargod Backwaters

Kasargod, situated in the northern most part of Kerala, is a popular destination for its backwaters. With the Arabian Sea to the West and Western Ghats to the North and East, Kasargod has a unique natural beauty. Chandragiri and Valiyaparamba are the two backwater stretches in Kasargod.

Situated a few kilometers from Kasargod town is Chandragiri. The backwater cruise in and around Chandragiri is really a pleasing experience. Moreover, you cannot miss the historic Chandragiri Fort, built in the 17th century. From the fort, yu can have a glimpse of the spectacular sunsets over the sea.

Malappuarm backwaters
